Ueno Station

uknow, ive come across several very inspiring interviews from some of my favorite game developers recently, and in combination, its made me realize several things. right now, i am lonely, forgetful, and lack motivation most days. however, every now and then i get a burst of motivation to work on something – which is nice, but there are still a few issues with it.

1. i forget nearly everything from the previous few days every time i wake up in the morning
2. i have nobody to talk with about my findings
3. i never keep a consistent record or track of what work ive done and what im still currently working on

i have now realized this, that not only am i going without clear direction most of the time, i am also unable to pick up from where i left off, or even be able to acknowledge the amount of progress ive made up until now. so ive decided to start this blog. this blog will act as a record for all of my random thoughts, research, and observations. im not sure at the moment if ill link my identity on this blog to the rest of my online identity or not, but its not really about that in the first place. im not doing this for anyone else. if someone ever comes across this blog and finds something you find interesting or unique, feel free to message me. however, the main purpose of this blog will always be purely for myself. dont expect this site to maintain any kind of professionality, focus, or even goals. if you either figured out who i am yourself, or if i just told you, then congrats! youre part of the special group that now gets to see into a small part of me that nobody else gets to see.

anyways, im going to try posting here very often (maybe once every other day?). this blog has no rules and is never required to stay on topic. at the end of the day, this is just another way for me to practice my writing.

this is the spark that will finally light my own “small fire.”
